Anna Kiss

(1915-2005)

Anna Kiss was born in a small village in Transsylvania (Rumania) in 1915. When she was 52 , Dezső Bandi , a painting teacher who supported , encouraged and helped her to paint , letting her imagination run free. She supplied her with paint and brushes. Anna began to depict her childhood images , later experienses and what she heard , saw or read, in a directly understandable style. From the mid-seventies she began sewing wall carpets from wood scraps, creating masterpieces in this genre. God rests it Anna old lady.
